Now That Kaspersky is Banned in the USA…
This is my new go to. So far, it has worked like a champ.

Shady Practice of Autorenewal high prices and not allowing you to cancel!
They have a 3rd party now you have to sign in, then they send you a link, then you go back to cancel renewal…. but they never send you that link (reminds me of scam that some fitness clubs have for cancel). And they have hidden my .CC information so cannot remove or access…. again, purposely not on my account like every other company (like amazon) as should be. Purposely designed so you can’t remove or get to option to stop auto renewal.Other issues, it burns up your CPU, did a scan for malware was heating my CPU to temps even my 4k modern video games do not….. this is very bad for someone who has expensive gaming computer like me. Others online are complaining about this, but they still have not fixed…..I think we are seeing another company that paid a lot of people for marketing ratings to grow. You want proof this happens, just read story of that guy that keeps saying you can eat donuts, etc. and still lose weight (that fitness guy that shows up in ads all the time – it is a complete scam – but he is getting richer every day because even Dr. Drew will take money (shameful) to promote).

It’s good, but I’m tired of them chasing me for more money for more coverage.

Remains safe
I’ve been using Kaspersky for years until I read where the government is putting some sort of prohibitions on the software because the company is Russian. Bitdefender got excellent reviews, appears to be solid, and doesn’t seem to interfere with my machine or software operation.

Lots Of Annoying Pop Ups – Wont Allow Uninstall
So, I have this for 3 PCS and I needed to take it off one of them for a little bit. Well, that still never happen to this day because when I try to uninstall BitDefender will not allow it. It tells me to first uninstall some other program by BitDefender, I checked my system and the other required program is not on my PC, does not exist or is hidden by BitDefender. I will not use or buy their software again, stick with McAfee of Norton and get peace of mind.

Not able to cancel.
I uninstalled Malwarebytes because it was interfering with my iphone and then discovered that Bitdefender would do the same thing. It could be just my desktop because those two get the highest ratings. I just thought I would talk about my personal problem. I’ ll see if I can give it to somebody else.

Great deal when you buy the multi pak
Bought this for ours and some other family member computers. Works great. But a couple of tips when renewing year-to-year: (1) once you re-install, the 365 day clock starts, so don’t install like a month early, thinking you will then have 13 months of service. the one year subscription starts on the day of install. (2) If you are installing on someones else’s computer as well as yours, make sure to do yours first. I did my moms first this time around, then mine, and somehow messed up her install. (3) when installing, it downloads a very big file (50 GB I think) from a server farm. Make sure you router/wifi are up to snuff with xfer speed.
