Good, inexpensive phone
Purchased this small flip phone for my elderly mother. The phone was easy to setup. Just installed the Mint SIM card and phone worked without any issues. After a few lessons, my mother felt comfortable enough to use the phone on her own. The calls sound loud and clear. The refurbished phone may not have a lot of features but is inexpensive and very user friendly. The battery life is adequate, compatible with the service provider (Mint) and appears to be well made. The phone looks brand new and worth every cent. My mom and I are very happy with the phone and performance.

Best little flip phone ever!
Everything works great! The only issue I have is that the volume could be louder.

A Dumb phone that’s trying to be a Smart phone
So SLOW!!! There is a delay when performing any action. There are about a dozen internet applications for this supposed “dumb phone”.All messages, phone calls, files recieved, etc. are grouped into “notifications”. You can’t see whether you missed a call or have received a text message, until you open them.Messages appear in conversaion form, not individual messages.Predictive text is lacking in many common words. And whether you are using the predictive text or the classic T9 alphabet mode, your options are: 1. all letters lowercase, 2. ALL LETTERS UPPERCASE, or 3. The First Letter Of Every Word Is Capitalized. Why was the standard auto-capitalize of the first letter in a sentence abandoned? It also does not insert a period after two spaces.I used it for a day and decided I couldn’t stand it and am returning it.

Decent Phone
The phone itself was decent, especially for a refurbished model. Both the operating system and interface were user-friendly. The interface was also attractive. I had to return the phone because the battery life was terrible (i could have purchased another, new battery) and it kept dropping calls or saying the network wasn’t available. Ultimately, it didn’t want to work with my T-Mobile SIM card, even after changing it out.

Not a bad little basic flip phone
Whatever MVNO/Carrier you go with, make sure it handles TMobile 4g LTE, this will not work with GSMA cards from Red Pocket, only the GSMT cards from Red Pocket. Phone is easy to use, I’ve had it powered on for the last 12 hours and the battery has only dropped 7% just sitting there. Got this phone for my elderly aunt and this should be a perfect fit for her. Speakerphone isn’t as loud as i’d want it but it will do. OS is snappy enough. Haven’t tested the Wifi hotspot feature. Phone arrived with the peel plastic on the device, not a scratch on it.

Works on my prepaid plan.
Put in my prepaid SIM for T-Mobile and all functions work fine. Notice it boots w/ATT logo and w/same on browser (apps screen) w/same default URL.

Great Basic Flip Phone!
Wonderful basic flip phone, especially for people who do not want a smart phone. Lots of great features. Big screen and buttons. Decent camera. 4GB of storage, which is excellent for this size phone. Can access email and the internet. However, you cannot download any apps. Extremely easy to set up and use. No problems getting it hooked up through our T-Mobile account. My dad is very averse to technology, but he needs a cell phone. He has absolutely no interest in any kind of smart phone. It’s getting harder and harder to find decent feature phones. Most on the market are either cheap pieces of crap or can only be used through a specific carrier. But this one is great. It has every feature he needs, but the user interface is clean and simple. Even my dad was able to learn it quickly. This phone DOES NOT come with a new SIM card. Since my dad’s old phone had a different size SIM card in it, we did have to take it into T-Mobile to have his phone number placed on a new SIM card that would fit this phone. However, that only took about 10 minute and T-Mobile did not charge for the new, smaller SIM. If your old SIM card does fit in this phone, you just pop it in and go!Uses a micro-USB charger. Holds its charge quite well.
