Great durable phone
This is a tuff phone. Today I was working over a man hole and the phone fell out of my pocket and went down it. It fell 7 feet to the water level then went down 6 ft of water. It took me over an hour to get a pump and pump all the water out, do the paper work to go down and get it. I found it in all the dirt and slush in the bottom looking and working fine. I dried it off on my overalls and am still using it!!!The battery life is great, takes good pictures and can handle being a work phone. I would recommend if you break alot of phones like I did.

A heavy nice and secure phone but a few questions un-answered…
Pros: A good phone, rugged, heavy, secure an happy with overall performance.Cons: Cannot find answers to simple questions (on Net, Youtube or manuals)…1. How does one disable/enable the second SIM? It will help with the battery usage I am sure. my other phone(s) allow me enable/disable SIM under sim-management, but no choice here.2. How does one close running apps? Android normally had 3 soft-buttons at the bottom. One of them would show all the apps running and you could close them by swiping. This phone only shows 1 soft-button-line at the bottom, and it switches back to menu, but the apps running keep running in the back. I finally found out the solution. If you touch the soft bar at the bottom and slowly move it up an inch you can get the running apps and close them3. You touch the switch-off button and it either starts the camera, or calls 911. I have dialed it twice already. Not sure why it cant just turn it off and on…I am keeping it a few days all will get used to it maybe. but if not, I will have to return it.

Failing
I bought this phone in December 2023. It was working fabulously until recently. I have never dropped it or gotten it wet. It is in a case and has a screen protector. It is now Sept 2024 and the phone is failing. It locks up constantly. The camera app will not work anymore, and if it does take a picture, it takes terrible grainy pictures with weird color bands through them. See attached picture above for an example. that is my back porch. The phone locked up during a critical phone call and dumped me out to a black screen and then it would not unlock and allow me access to the call or the phone itself. The screen is terrible. You can only see it clearly in low lighting. I do not recommend this phone.

Really good phone
This is the longest I’ve had a phone without breaking. Literally dropped off a three story building into some grass and the screen didn’t even crack. Use the flashlight while chipping concrete for months now and still no cracks speaker still works even after all that time in a dusty environment sat on it yesterday on a concrete surface and it screen still didn’t crack.Best phone ever so far

Battery/charging port
So after a Year of having this phone the charging port is worn out and won’t charge the phone. Took it to AT&T (which it works on network) and they couldn’t get it to charge even by using wireless. Took it to the Fix-it places and I was told they couldn’t replace the battery. Went home and plugged it in and by morning it was charged. The charging issue has gone on for 3 months and now I’m have bought new phone. (back to Samsung) So i guess I’m saying if you have this phone charge it wireless for a much as you can. I’m still not sure if it is the port or the battery.

Durable, wireless charging, and a 3.5 jack
durable brick of a phone with good battery life, with a good case(that allows wireless charging) and good design has left me crack free for years, even survived a deployment, well worth what I paid

Excellent so far
I purchased this phone a few weeks ago and am happy with it so far. A lot of negative reviews focus on the fingerprint reader and Google Assistant button. I don’t use either of these features, so I can’t speak to their quality. When I received the phone, it was set up use gestures for navigation, which was annoying, but easily fixed. I hadn’t realized the camera was made by Zeiss before purchasing. This was a welcome surprise as I’ve often coveted their ridiculously expensive rifle scopes. Would recommend.Edit: A year later, this phone has performed flawlessly and has proven to be quite durable. Would still recommend.
