    I don’t need all the bells and whistles on a phone. It works fine. I would like to be able to switch Mobile Data on and off more easily. You have to scroll through four pages to find that setting.

    Broke before use
    I spent 2 hours trying to get this phone setup. It fought me at every step. It rebooted every time touched the screen. Finally got everything moved over logged in and it got stuck in an endless boot loop. I figured maybe it was installing stuff. So I let it sit until the boot screen said “your device is corrupted”… so now I don’t have a phone.

    Really nice budget phone under $100, but camera needs serious help. (T-Mobile and it’s MVNO’s only)
    I’ve been using this for a month and will say for a bill, this phone can’t be touched for a Benjamin $. With a 128gb Rom and 4gb of Ram (extendable with another 4gb of virtual Ram) it has plenty of power under the hood. The display is powered by a G57 running at 90Hz, smooth sailing folks. This phone really is a great tool, and I really like it a whole lot. It’s has the stuff I need; like 3.5 mm audio jack, micro-SD memory card slot, 2 sim slots, great sound. The NUU N10 is a whole lot of phone for a Benjamin $. Been using it for a month and have a good feel for this beastie.The only thing wrong with the phone is the camera, it needs a serious firmware update from NUU. I’ve talked with them about this issue via emails a month ago, still no update. The pictures and videos are full of graininess, also some colors are washed out badly. As it stands the phone ranks as the worst camera on a phone I’ve used over the decades. I’m hoping they fix the issue and fix it soon. If and when they update the firmware and or provide an ETA for an update this review stands. I’ll adjust the review when I hear something, till then we wait for them with a fix.Connection could be an issue here in the USA, the only network out of the big three to fully support it is T-Mobile and their mvno’s. Keep that in mind if your in the USA, because you will be returning the phone if you don’t hear me out. I personally wish all networks would work, but they don’t. Simply put, the frequency bands aren’t fully supported with AT&T and Verizon in the USA. What that means; you may get connected to a cell tower with a voice call and suddenly dropped or you may get a text out, but it never reaches the destination and visa versa. I believe these bands are for other countries; like south america and Europe.Over-all it’s a great phone, but with the camera this way, I really can’t recommend it.

    The minimalist budget phone
    Attention: For those of you into minimalist phones, this might just be the perfect phone for you. 95% screen on the front and clean, unblemished, fingerprint-proof metal on the back. The silicon case just adds to this (or takes away I guess, since that’s the point of minimalism) by removing the NUU logo as well, so making it even more clean.As a budget phone, this phone is not going to be a speed demon nor have most flagship features, like wireless charging. The cameras aren’t great, with no OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) or Ai processing. It doesn’t have 5G either. But, honestly, if you want these features you want a midrange or flagship. Budget or “Economical” phones are here to give you a working, serviceable phone. And the NUU N10 gives you exactly that.I want to start by saying that I knocked off a star for the screen. It bills itself as HD, but it’s 720p, which is taking advantage of the idea that anything above 480p is technically “HD” even though it really isn’t what you expect for HD. Not a deal breaker, but you can really see this on a large screen like this and it could’ve benefited with 1080p at the very least.Otherwise, the 4GB of RAM can be expanded to 8GB using swap storage on the flash memory which, yes, is slower than normal RAM, but on a phone like this you really won’t notice it. It is able to handle phone calls, media playback and even Youtube/Netflix playback without issue. It has dual SIM slots so it’s great for international travel and, hey, if you lose it, it’s not the end of the world. Pop-in a 128GB SD card and you can fill it with movies, books, audio books and tv shows for a nice little media machine.Also I love that it comes with ZERO bloatware. It’s as close to stock Android as possible, which is awesome, since I always like to customize phones my way, instead of however the company thinks I should.
