Great Android Phone
Great phone. Fast and great pictures. I went through a few others and returned them. I bought this and love it. A little heavy but you can tell it’s made great. Charges quick too.

Wrong color but decent product
Delivered overnight. Bought a gift for my son. I ordered green but they sent black. Otherwise he says it’s got a rugged design and the photos taken in the dark are excellent. Works just like a phone.

Misleading Compatibility Information
Transcript from T-Mobile Chat:”Upon checking, your device is only 2G compatible. Your device is compatible; however, service status will usually depend on the device make and model and area.”I find this very misleading. Here is the description from the Amazon website for the Armor 22:Armor 22 Description: 4G: LTE-FDD: B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/19/20/28A/28B/66 LTE-TDD: B34/38/39/40/41 3G: WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/6/8 2G: GSM: B2/3/5/8Reported T-Mobile Frequencies: LTE FDD Band 2: 1900 MHz (LTE 4G) LTE FDD Band 4: 1700/2100 MHz (AWS LTE 4G) LTE FDD Band 5: 850 MHz (LTE 4G) LTE FDD Band 12: 700 MHz (LTE 4G) LTE FDD Band 66: 1700/2100 MHz (AWS LTE 4G) LTE FDD Band 71: 600 MHz (LTE 4G)Based on this information, one would expect the Armor 22 to be compatible with T-Mobile’s network. However, it appears to be only marginally compatible in 2G! Or is this a T-Mobile misinformation? I’ll update score and review with actual results.I believe this discrepancy needs to be addressed urgently to avoid misleading future customers.

Update/ Owned for less than 3 months.
Updated review: I was able to reach out to the manufacturer thru their website about my issue. Ultimately I was sent a new phone first. I thought I was just out of a main camera but luckily ulefone did care about my problem and were understanding so I’m more than satisfied. Thank you.The main camera has malfunctioned it will not focus anymore. I can put my hand directly in front and it’s clear but moving it away it’s All blurry and won’t focus. The night vision works just fine and so does the front camera. Manufacture said to return the phone to them and they will send a new one. Exactly how do they seriously believe I can be without my phone. So tired of these rugged phones breaking so quickly. 3rd rugged phone in a year all because the battery or speaker go out now a camera. These phones have become a joke and an incredible waste of money.

Customer Review –
Impressive camera and durability, Helio g96 is a bit lacking for this price
Here we have another rugged Android smartphone, this one being from Ulefone. Itâs extremely bulky and built with a robust design, but it still is visually appealing overall. The metal accents around the camera module and sides make it look premium and strong. Itâs very bold in its design, some will really like that and others will think it looks too over the top.Letâs talk about the internals- the Mediatek Helio G96 is SOC being used here, paired with 8GB of RAM. The model I have is the 256GB version. The Helio G96 is really not that powerful, itâs enough to enable the 120Hz display and everything feels snappy and responsive but itâs still a little on the underpowered side for this price point. You can play some mobile games, even demanding ones like Genshin Impact, just keep your expectations in check. The phone features a USB C port that supports Power Delivery, 33 watts is the speed for recharging. This isnât bad, itâs faster than flagship iPhones and most Samsung Galaxy devices. A charger (and USB C cable) is included in the box. They also include both a preinstalled plastic screen protector and a tempered glass one that you can install yourself. It is impressive how these Chinese phones can include all these extras that have been since omitted from more popular brands. The 64 Megapixel main camera is quite good in daytime/well lit scenarios. It looks as good as my iPhone 12 Pro Max. The night vision camera is using the same sensor (I believe, not 100% sure about this), it also looks very detailed although these shots are all taken in night vision, which changes the look of the photos significantly. There are 2x infrared LEDs that work in tandem with the night vision camera. The 8MP selfie camera is less impressive, it gets the job done but thatâs about all I can say. There is a side-mounted fingerprint reader for unlocking the phone, it seems to work well. The LCD display is 120Hz and FHD+, but it looks a bit on the washed out side. Colors are not especially vibrant, but this can be helped slightly by going into the display settings and changing a few things.Widevine Level is only 3, so you wonât be able to watch Netflix content at this displayâs native resolution, even 720p will not be possible. This is pretty standard for these type of Chinese OEM devices. Android OS upgrades and security patches are also a big question mark. Itâs unknown how well this device will be supported, so make sure to install your Google Play system updates in the âSecurityâ section of the settings app.
